With the opening of its own subsidiary in Italy, Fette Compacting is strengthening its presence in one of Europe's most important pharmaceutical markets. The new location in the Bologna economic region will provide even more intensive support to the growing number of customers in the pharmaceutical and nutrition sectors and will serve as a local hub for sales, service, and technical consulting.
Italy has one of the most powerful pharmaceutical industries in Europe. The country is characterized by strongly internationally oriented pharmaceutical production, a high density of specialized contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), and a dynamic nutrition industry. For Fette Compacting, the Italian market is a central component of its international growth and customer relationship strategy.

The new subsidiary will be headed by Alessandro Recupero, who brings extensive experience in pharmaceutical production to his role as Managing Director. “I am very much looking forward to building up Fette Compacting Italia and supporting our customers as their direct point of contact in the future,” says Alessandro Recupero. “Italy is a market that sets the highest quality standards and at the same time is highly dynamic in terms of product development.
